Elastography

Elastography is an imaging method that uses low vibrations during an ultrasound  to measure the stiffness (or elasticity) of organs inside the body. The procedure of elastography is quick and completely painless. It is often used during the ultrasound examination to evaluate an abnormal mammography result or a palpable breast abnormality.

Elastography imaging technique is an imaging method that provides information on breast lesions for breast cancer prevention. In addition, this examination is useful for detecting the presence and severity of liver disease.
