Gastroenterology - Endoscopy

Gastroscopy

Gastroscopy is the endoscopic examination of the upper digestive system with or without biopsy sample harvesting. The examination is performed to detect pathological conditions in this region using a special instrument, the gastroscope, which takes images and records the interior mucosa of these organs.

This examination can also detect infections by Helicobacter pylori (CLO test) in a fast and reliable manner.
